Inspiring Visit from Festus Akinbusoye

On 5th December 2024, our Year 5 and 6 pupils had the privilege of hearing from Festus Akinbusoye, the UK’s first Black Police and Crime Commissioner. Festus shared his incredible journey of resilience, determination, and success, captivating our pupils with stories of his entrepreneurial ventures and ground-breaking career achievements. He spoke about overcoming challenges, the importance of staying focused on goals, and the value of making a positive impact in the community. His inspirational message left a lasting impression, encouraging our young learners to embrace their potential, dream big, and approach their futures with confidence and perseverance.
