Library Visits

This half term all of the classes have been making trips to the Library to continue to encourage a love of reading. The trips also help to support our local Library (Hayes End Library). When at the Library the librarians had kindly gathered topic books and videos to support the learning of a specific topic chosen by the class teacher. For example, Year 1 focused on ‘The First Moon Landing’, which is their current topic in History and Year 6 focused on ‘Plant and Animal Classification’, which is their current topic in Science. As the children walked to the Library, they were able to practise their pedestrian training, to keep them safe when walking along the footpath with their fellow classmates and Teachers.
